On November 9th, four NFS students attended a breakfast discussion by David Peyman, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Counter Threat Finance and Sanctions.
Our NFS students were able to hear the rationale from one of President Trump's top officials regarding the economic sanctions being placed on the Iranian regime.
It was a thoughtful discussion and gave our students some insight into the current presidential administration's thoughts on the JCPOA and the ongoing efforts towards denuclearization of the Middle East.
